  I don't get the appeal of this place. The best I can say is the food is not gross, but it doesn't taste good either. No points for effort either.

  This is the third time that I have been here. The first time was about two years ago, and the first time was three years ago. The food has always been poor. The place is relatively clean, but the mood lighting of the restaurant is a little dim for a "Hawaiian style" restaurant. It's gloomy.
  
  The first time I came, I can't remember what I ate, but it wasn't good enough to warrant a return for another year. Two years ago I ordered the Hawaiian style burger. Nothing special, a little boring. This time, is my last time. I tried the Hawaiian burger again, and it was awful. There was plenty of meat, which was nice, but it had zero flavor. You get a burger for the variety of flavors. This guy had just the ground beef flavor. BORING. I mean, one bite was just beef flavor, then the next bite had a hint of pineapple, along with the soggy bun they served. Three times, over the course of three years, and the place still can't get it right. Never going back.

  I purchase salads at Rumbi's nearly everyday. The Aloha Mango Chicken salad is the best. The chicken is moist, the lettuce is fresh, and the employees are respectful, fast, and courteous. They also have a Tortilla Soup that is wonderful.
